Alexander Wang Resort 2014

The new Alexander Wang collection is really good. He did not cut out from white and black comepletely, but we can observe some new colours, a big surprise was the colour pink or orange, he explained that "I wanted something sweet but almost saccharine, synthetic-feeling". Clothes in their forms are architectonic and the severe scenery for this lookbook only has fasten an esthetic impression. In this lookbook we see Anna Luisa Ewers, Kayley Chabot and Joanna Tatarka - the next Polish model who makes career in modeling.

Despite the fact Wang works for Balenciaga he did find time to make the Resort collection uder his name. Deconstruction, he plays with the proportions and structure. However the collection is very concise, dominant are low-slung, baggy leather pants, a leather cheerleader miniskirt with asymmetrical darts, and a leather dress with batwing sleeves. Resort is "about deflating those proportions and flattening the structures" as Wang said.
