Valentino haute couture autumn/winter 2013

Paris fashion week of haute couture has already started.
Everyone knows that haute couture collections are too theatrical or too red carpet to wear it by ordinary people. But when you see Valentino collection you seem that everything is worth wearing by you and me, not by a princess or red carpet star. And that distinguish Valentino autumn/winter 2013 haute couture collection from the others. What we have seen lately in haute couture by Valentino was inspiration of the Dutch Masters of paintings, untouchable virgins, etc. But what Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri presented this time is real daywear! Double-faced camel cashmere, tweed, fabrics that are simple, but always elegant.
The inspiration? As they said it is a ‘cabinet of curiosities’, things from natural world, like butterflies, stags heads and antlers. Some of clothes are very 'rich' - made from silk tulle coverd in 1500 pearls and 2500 rose embroideries, coats embroidered with gold pearls that needed 850 hours to be made. But they waren't the clothes. These ones which were the main ovation and evoked the most gasps were dresses, coats and capes without any decorations.
