Alexander McQueen spring/summer 2013

The newest Sarah Burton's collection for Alexander McQueen is bee-inspired. We can see models in beekeepers' veils - they faces are invisible. Her collection is based on honey colour pallette. Materials and fabrics look like honeycombs. We can also observe a many flower petals - a life giving nectar for bees (three of the longest dresses are made of 9.000 petals of flowers!).
Burton underlined that this collection is a come back to womanhood
after the overblown proportions of a woman body.
What is curious it is a ready-to-wear collection, but I don't feel it, I don't feel wearing it on everyday occasion, it is too sophisticated on a street
(but still it is an enormous collection!).
Here, I present only a few of her designs. More you can watch at: www.elleuk.com
To sum up, a very fresh, feminine and gorgeous collection for spring/summer 2013.

Elie Saab Haute Couture fall/winter 2012-13

What to wear on today's party? :) In such creations you could feel like a princess...
Do you remember my post about Zuhair Murad's collection?
This time I present the next talented Lebanese - Elie Saab.
His collection Haute Couture fall/winter 2012/2013 is so spectacular and glamorous, just amazing!
What is typical and similar to Zuhair's collection is a detail,
a particular attention to detail.
This collection is inspired by Constantinopole, it is full of ethereal fabrics and sparkling with crystals dresses. Many laces, silk, chiffon and embroidery. Every dress has one particular colour, but very simple and in subdued colours, such as pink, apricot, brown and black with golden thread.

Let's make a party!

Today I am making a party :) I am thinking about something sweet and stylish and the most proper will be the macarones! This proper one (in the picture), because a box was designed by Alber Elbaz - a creative director of Lanvin.
The last time when I was eating macarones was at my trip a two years ago to Paris... I really miss them! They do not have as much calories as doughnuts, but they even taste better! Bubblegum Macarone Laduree is what I need for today's party!
Have a nice day!

The newest show of Victoria's Secret 2012 took place yesterday evening!
The tradition of Victoria's Secret Shows is that not only fans of lingerie are involved but also many other people, e.g. artists.
This year we could watch circus corsets, clowns and many other showing
inspiration of fan house, but not only!
Such stars like Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber
ornemented VS's show with their voices.
Even Rihanna walked on catwalk in lingerie!
Justin Bieber moved us to the younger years of our lives and reminded us about
high school (projects witch pom poms, cheerleaders, etc.)
Personally, I really love Miranda Kerr lingerie, which she wore on catwalk!
Also, we can find a project with an emblem of Irealand - a four-leaf-clover :)
After my last post about childhood, now something very different
- a very grown-up show!
So many photos, because I couldn't decide which one to choose!
I hope you like it, and please write what you think of it or maybe write what you want to read about in next posts :)
Best regards!

Back to childhood!

The most famous designers such as Dolce&Gabbana, Oscar  de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli and many others have all presented this year a childrenswear to their collections. Here, I presented this which I like the most. Many of them are a miniatures of the "grown-up" collections. If you want to see more check www.elle.com

Roberto Cavalli - his first children collection was shown in 2000. Now, he is using (of course) animal prints, patchworking and so on. In the picture we can see leopard ruffle dress - such tiny and beautiful!
My favourite!
Oscar de la Renta presented this year a vivid colours, elegance and sophistication (look at this jacket - almost for a grown-up lady! ... it is enormous!). Of course everything is age-appropriate. He used a very comfortable fabrics such as cashmere.
Very chic!
Giorgio Armani has been doing childrenswear since 1981! But first shop only for children will be opened this year. Very stylish collection, with simple elegance and minimal colours.
Dolce&Gabbana shows a mini version of women's collection. They focused on animal prints (as always), lace detailing and velvet jackets. Here, silk cherub print shift dress. Look at these velvet shoes - gorgoeous!
Burberry's collection is some kind of nostalgic. I don't know maybe it is bacuse of the photoshoot. Christopher Bailey created a mini trench coats, shearling jackets, and checked frocks. Despite this nostalgy I love it! Very nice wool blend tweed coat (in the picture).
Lanvin and Alber Elbaz's collection Lanvin Petite. The collection is inspired by Jeanne Lanvin who was the founder of the Lanvin House. We can see taffeta dresses, playful jewellery and many ballet shoes! In the photo - gold metallic trench.
Gucci proposition for kids and its designing for them started a year ago (a campaign with Jennifer Lopez and her twins).
The girl is wearing oshibana pritnt dress and studded leather shoes.
Very cute session!
Angela Missoni's collection is ful of zigzags, stripes, patchwork. In the collection you can find for your child many knit leggins, cardigans, scarves. Everything is very soft and comfortable.
First polo of Ralph Lauren for boys was introduced (I mean collection for children) even earlier than Armani, in 1976! Lauren is nothing other like classic style. Many polos, oxford shirts, navy blazers - it is his identification. In the photo: officer's military jacket and jeans.
Chloé is the last one that I wanted to present. The collection is very chic, elegand and so French!
Even the photo is ethereal... The collection is based on pleated chiffon dresses and subdued hues, adding whimsical touches like hedgehog prints and iridescent leather.
I hope you like this post! It reminds me about my childhood. That every girl was a tiny doll for a mummy.
I didn't have a designer clothes when I was young, but I was still pretty like every child. It is nice that designers thinks also about the younger audience, but who can afford it? Not everyone.
What a pity!
