Chanel haute couture 2013

This time Karl Lagerfeld moved us to the Grand Palais which looked not as usual. He made a mere forest, full of trees and the runaway was covered with moss. This scenery was more darker than the Diors one (remind that he also made a trees and hedges in his haute couture fashion show). His guests have to wandered through the woods, the same as models. The inspiration for this collection was German place called Weimar and he was thinking about German Romanticism in the late eighteenth century with Goethe and Schiller on the top.
As you may notice Karl Lagerfeld is an extraordinary man. He has head full of ideas, and does not stop with making something new. Only a month ago we could admire his pre-fall collection in Scottish style, this time we can observe such a diferent collection, how it is possible, to have such different idea? I think that is a sheer talent.
The collection glitters and shines. Even in the daytime tweeds are sparkling as well as the evening dresses. A white, silver and black are the main colours in this collection despite of the flowers applications. Karl itself says that "Shine is beautiful for the summer", "It lights the face", if he says so, we should believe it, because he knows about what is he talking about.
Karl also scandalised people, at the very end of the show he put two brides with a child. It corresponds with the latest controversy among gay-marriage roiling France, but is he as much influential, does the fashion influence poeople to change their mind? I think, about it he moved too far. I didn't find it in this way, but people always wants to look something scandalous. When I saw two brides and kid, I saw only two gorgoeus dresses, and nothing more.
What is interesting and new: hair and makeup featured with feathery effects. He wants to bring a melancholy to this collection by feathers. He said that: "There's nothing more elegant than a certain kind of melancholia". Sheer beauty.
Fashion is fashion, and we should not put other things into it, especially if it concerns gay-marriage. We should put aside everything what can polluted our sight into fashion. Politics should be put aside, because fashion is art, and politics is surely not. Why people wants to destroy this image?

SAG Awards 2013

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior
Amanda Seyfried in Zac Posen
 Nicole Kidman in Vivienne Westwood
 Julianne Moore in Chanel couture
Jennifer Garner in Oscar de la Renta
 Naomi Watts in Marchesa
 Anne Hathaway in Giambattista Valli
 Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen
 Nina Dobrev in Elie Saab
 Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior
A Screen Actors Guild Award is also known as a SAG Award, is an accolade given by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists to recognize outstanding performances by its members. The given statuette presents a nude male figure holding both a mask of comedy and a mask of tragedy. SAG Awards have been one of the major awards events in Hollywood since 1995. This year the awards came to Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lawrence hands. Of course the award is not as important as presented dresses here, which are much more interesting. I picked the most beautiful ones.
I think that the best creation and look from this event and that deserved the most applause is Marion Cotillard's. The French beauty chose Christian Dior white-blue dress, black and classic heels and Chopard jewellery. The make-up and hair looks as fantastic as the dress on her.
Amanda Seyfried the star of Les Miserables picked an elegant navy Zac Posen dress and a long Lorraine Schwartz necklace. This colour suits her very well.
Nicole Kidman who has a problem with admitting her age, and the process of getting old, she is doing everything to keep her young. The dress which she picked by Vivienne Westwood is sexy and in midnight blue colour, but she does not look natural as the other ladies, I think that she is overreacting and exaggerating too much.
However, despite her age in contrary to Kidman's, Julianne Moore looks amazing in deep v-neck Chanel Couture gown accented with black and gray blooms. She looks very natural and fresh. It is a very beautiful women and she knows what to wear and how.
The next one is Jennifer Garner in golden gown made by Oscar de la Renta. Mrs. Affleck looks happy and the whole beauty is unaffected.
Naomi Watts, the next Aussie on the red carpet choose a silvery gray metallic Marchesa dress and Faberge jewellery! Very elegant.
Anne Hathaway after wearing white gown at the Golden Globes, now she turned into black in a retro Giambattista Valli gown. Very chic, she deserved the award, and thinking about getting the Oscar;) Fingers crossed!
Jessica Chastain was to said the best dressed red carpet women. This time she picked a cherry red Alexander McQueen dress and dazzling Harry Winston necklece. Oh my! Jewellery...
Nina Dobrev never looks good on the red carpet. I don't know, it is a matter of hanging out with the wrong stylist or to not having any? Maybe. But this time she suprised me. The star of The Vampire Diaries stood out in a hot pink Elie Saab dress and Jimmy Choo sandals. Great one.
The last one described here is Jennifer Lawrence. A young star is showing more and more on the red carpet. And it is good! Every time, she picks a good dress. Even if it is always Christian Dior. The dress of Christian Dior Haute Couture looks amazing on her, Chopard jewells and Jimmy Choos make the whole outfit very proffesional.

Dior haute couture 2013

Today I am going to write about the haute couture collection of the French house of fashion: Dior.
Since the advent of the New Look in 1947, Dior Haute Couture has represented the utmost in elegance around the world.
This time, also Dior suprised the viewers and create a beautiful, real garden on which models moves smoothly. In this garden the trees stand the same like in the park, and all around we can see writhing hedge. In such amazing style Raf Simons presented his enormous haute couture collection.
The scenery moves us to the misterious and enchanted garden in which women can feel beautifully and elegant.
Raf Simons through this collection showed his cohesion between the old passion of Cristian Dior, flowers. Dior was a passionate of flowers and he grew them as well.
The most ethereal accent in this collection are the tulle gloves with the flowers on them.
The flowers are everywhere.
The shape of dresses also reminds a closed up flower bud.
An amazing haute couture...
Do you agree with me?

Zuhair Murad haute couture 2013

The next presented here haute couture collection is one of the Zuhair Murad's.
My favourite one and the most stunning and beautiful.
As always he enchanted by delicate embroidery, tulle, laces and ruffles.
The dominant colour is gold, somehow mixed with silver.
The collection is so beautiful that any words are needed. The collection speaks for itself.
I am sure that this season many celebrities will choose his projects for the red carpet.
